Unknown error 0x80070570 decomposing ...

I have been getting this error for soemtime now like ten months and have not figured out with it is all about. What does the term decomposing mean in this sense with this error. It is having trouble decomposing some file in some location.

error code is: 0xa020000c

    What does the term decomposing mean

    Some files (like simple .txt files) are "flat" or "linear" while others have an internal structure. Decomposing is the process of identifying and locating the different sections (for example the EXIF information in a JPEG). But otherwise it has no special meaning in conjunction with this error, it just means that reading failed. 0x80070570 can have various causes, one of them being a corruption of the file system. Is it your C: drive and is it always the same file, are the files otherwise usable or are they in some obscure location?
