Failed to connect to the firewall driver, error 2. Please ... contact ... support

Whenever I start my PC or attempt to restart the Sophos Firewall service I get the following error: 4/25/2011 5:28:53 pm Failed to connect to the firewall driver, error 2. Please restart your computer and, if the symptoms persist, contact Sophos technical support. How do I fix this?
