Hi Robert , 
 I suggest checking the Recover tamper protection passwords menu in Sophos Central. 
 If the device is not present here, the device may have been deleted from Sophos Central over 90 days ago, in which case you will need to proceed with the recovery steps. - Official Documentation - Simplified Tamper Protection Recovery
