Sophos experienced an issue on October 7th between 9:00am to 10:30am EDT, where any Sophos Central Partner or Central Customer with 2-factor authentication (MFA) enabled, received an Internal Server Error message "Internal server Error" and as a result, were unable to log in.

On October 7th between 9:00am to 10:30am EDT - Sophos experienced an issue where any Sophos Partner or Customer with 2-factor authentication (MFA) enabled received an Internal Server Error message and were are unable to log into Central. All Sophos product functionality was otherwise un-impacted.
1:45pm EDT - 2-factor authentication has been restored for all Sophos Central customers and partners. We will continue to monitor for any future issues with authentication and related services. Please notify Sophos Support if you continue to experience any issues.
10:50am EDT update - We are aware that Sophos Partners and Customers are now able to successfully complete 2-factor authenticated logins to their Central Dashboard consoles. We continue to monitor this issue and will provide updates as appropriate.
