This article provides information on how to enable the Call Identification functionality within Sophos Secure Email. Using this feature, the iOS Phone app can directly look up numbers of incoming calls within Sophos Secure Email. Exporting the contacts from Sophos Secure Email to the local address book is not necessary anymore.

To enable the Call Identification feature, the administrator first has to enable it within the Sophos Container policy. As this is currently not configurable directly within the UI, an addditional parameter must be added to the appropriate Corporate Email policy.
The policy was now adjusted and the app will receive the new setting once the user opens the app again. On the mobile device, the following steps have to be performed by the user:
As soon as this option is enabled, the Phone app is now able to look into the Sophos Secure Email contacts and look up phone numbers for incoming calls. This way, exporting contacts from Sophos Secure Email is not necessary anymore.
