This article describes the steps to configure the Sophos Firewall to act as a DHCP Relay Agent. The Relay Agent allows a DHCP server configured in one subnet to lease IP addresses in a different subnet.

As an example, a Windows Server is configured as a DHCP Server: it is 172.16.16.17 in the 172.16.16.0/24 IP range. Sophos Firewall is configured in 10.10.1.0/24, a different network. The DHCP Server is to lease IP Addresses from the range 10.10.1.10 - 10.10.1.30 to clients behind Sophos Firewall.
