Allow access from Host Dns to Web Admin Console in Sophos XG

Hello! I am needing to configure access to the Web Admin Console from a DNS Host. I managed to configure the Local service ACL exception rule on the WAN and I can enter from an external IP, but I can't find a way to allow a dyndns for example.

I have allowed access to the web admin console, from my public IP. But if my public ip changes I lose access, this is why I want to configure allow access from a DNS and not an ip.

This was possible in SG but I don't know if it continues in XG.

Someone knows?

Thank you.

  • Hi,

are you telling about 50 or so UTMs or 50 or so XGs. CM only supports XG, You would need to setup a UTM support system (which is a modified UTM) on your network to manage the UTMs.
