XG115w Firmware Upgrade - wish version should I use?

I have an XG115w running SFOS 17.5.12 MR-12.

My custom configurations include: Running AD integration, custom ipsec vpn to a non-sophos device (using older ipsec security settings), ssl vpn using otp, wan connection port is configured as to use dhcp and connects to an NBN modem.

My question relates to the firmware upgrade path. I am being offered HW-18.0.1_MR-1-Build396.SF300-396 and HW-17.5.14_MR-14-1.SF300-714 in the web config (I am not being offered the recently released MR3 yet).

I heard there are stability and vpn issues with v18 MR1. Considering I am using AD integration and an older ipsec configuration am I better to upgrade to HW-17.5.14_MR-14-1.SF300-714 ?

    Would rather go directly to MR3, as there are plenty of Bug fixes on top. (Likely to be pushed to the appliance next week or so. Or you download the SIG from mySophos).

    It depends if and when you want to migrate to V18. There are some changes but basically "everything should continue to work" after V18. You will have to activate the new Stuff afterwards.
