Sophos Connect vs Sophos VPN (openVPN)

Hello,

What are the differences, advantages or disadvantages of Sophos Connect vs Sophos VPN (openVPN). Is Sophos Connect the new kid that will replace Sophos VPN (openVPN) or both will coexist?

    Sophos Connect installs an OpenVPN Client. So you could actually use the OpenVPN Client or Sophos Connect.

    The story is: One easy to manage Client, managed by Sophos. Clients can easily switch between SSLVPN and IPsec. Sophos Connect supports a management of config files for all clients (Ipsec + SSLVPN), which is much easier than a single openVPN per user management. 

    OpenVPN will not be replace by Sophos Connect, as there is no need to do it, but there is "no real reason" to stuck with OpenVPN in the long run.

    As you can use a .openvpn File with Sophos Connect, you can also integrate UTM files. So you could switch to Sophos Connect. 

    Sophos Connect 2.0 (with OpenVPN) cannot be installed with OpenVPN on the Client. So you have to uninstall OpenVPN first.
