How to Troubleshoot "Control Centre > System > Interfaces"

About a day ago I noticed that our internet connection seemed a bit laggy.  When I opened the "Control Centre" on the XG I noticed that the "Interfaces" icon was red.  Clicking the icon gave the following:

It indicates that there is an issue with the LAN but WiFi & GuestAP are fine.  I find that a bit odd considering that the WiFi and GuestAP are connected through the LAN.  How can I troubleshoot this issue to find the underlying cause?

I cannot find issues reported anywhere else in the XG web admin interface.

  • Ok, it appears that the issue is with the IPv6 WAN link.  Although the "Control Centre" shows a green dot indicating that the connection is good, the XG is not being assigned an IPv6 address.  As a result, it cannot connect to the IPv6 internet.

I would think that it makes more sense to have this indicator "red" to show that although it may be able to connect to the IPv6 gateway, it is not able to connect to the IPv6 internet.
