Sophos XG doesnt sync but its connected

Question

I want to manage my sophos Fw from sophos central but it just show it connected and it doesnt seem to be synching like the rest of the FW 
 
 you can see there is a task pending, but it doesnt advance at all 
 
 can someone help me with this?

Hello All, 
 This issue is being tracked under NR-2303 and NC-60599, which is fixed in 18.0.2 release. 
 There is a workaround available if you need to get the workaround please open a case and mention you would like the workaround for NR-2303. 
 [UPDATE] The fix for this version was moved from MR2 to MR3.

Hi, 
 i have been in contact with sophos about this issue. 
 
 First of all, try this: 
 Remove the firewall from the group, create a new empty group and put the fw in this group. 
 Wait for the sync and then putting the firewall back into the original group. 
 
 If it still does not work with certain firewall, you may have been affected by a known issue. 
 It seems to have a problem with the special Characters (UTF-8), is probably solved with the V18.0 MR3 . 
 There is a workaround for this which can be implemented by support. So open a case if it is really urgent.

MR2 is not the fixed Version. 
 The fixed are moved to MR3.
