Hi everyone, looking for some advice or maybe just encouragement. Currently running a XG 210 with the latest MR 17 version still. I have been very reluctant to click that update button to version v18 as I am afraid of loss of use, with this being our main production firewall. When I purchased this firewall for the company, since I had solely been the person who researched and recommended the product. I decided (out of my own pocket) to also purchase a XG105 for home so I could roll out updates at home first, deem them stable then push to the production company XG210. But my fail-safe method quickly came with its own disappointment when my XG105 is no longer supported with V18, almost made me have the company reinvest in a Cisco NSFW because I was so mad. Anyway I'm concerned still moving this unit to v18 with the way things currently are, some staff are remote and just our sole source or protection and services. How has the transition gone for most moving form 17 to 18. Anything I need to consider or pretest prior to getting the courage to upgrade.
You could, in fact, break the XG105 warranty seal, upgrade the RAM to much more and run XG Home as a software version on it?
