Hi XG Community!
We've released XG Firewall hotfix "HF051220.1".
1) If the customer configuration requires, you can now disable captcha for the webadmin and user portal when they are exposed on the VPN zone.
2) If the administrator of the XG Firewall(s) had previously changed passwords after the hotfix was applied on April 25, 2020, you can now turn off mandatory password reset pop-up
If you have disabled “Allow automatic installation of hotfixes”, please reference the following KBA for instructions on how to apply the required hotfix: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/135415
Note: Customers managing XG Firewalls with either Sophos Firewall Manager (SFM) or Central Firewall Manager (CFM) need to verify each firewall has an active connection with firewall management to receive critical updates. These steps are not required for Sophos Central managed devices.
Our XG device was updated and rebooted automatically.
An email notification should have been sent to notify us.
We thought there was something wrong with our appliance, not knowing why it has restarted "out of the blue".
The automatic hotfix installed disrupted our customer's Internet connection. They had to reboot the firewall manually this monring to get online. Not a good experience. Thanks Sophos for making us look professional in the eyes of our customers.
Hi, regarding update to my XG, I have rolled back to v18.0.0 354 and not able to do restores from v18.0.1 MR-1 with hot fix.
How do I get the hot fix on my XG which running v18.0.1 MR-1 with hot fix H050520.2?

This hotfix is available to all supported XG versions (SFOS v17.0, 17.1, 17.5, and v18 GA).
