How to Submit Dangerous Sites to Sophos

Hello, and I apoligize if I'm posting this in the wrong section. Please move it to the correct section if there's a better place for it.

I'm writing an article and would like to know how ordinary internet users can submit dangerous URL's to Sophos so they can be added to its database of dangerous sites.

    Hi Chiron,

    Anyone is welcome to submit samples and/or suspicious URLs to samples@sophos.com.  Please note that due to the number of requests we cannot guarantee individual replies.

    Although, in a business environment it may be best for users to actually contact your IT department in the first instance.  For a few reasons:

    - You can block the website (eg. on your web appliance) whilst SophosLabs review the website.  Do not visit the site yourselves unless you are confident it is clean.

    - The admin can call Sophos support to raise a ticket and obtain feedback about the website, threat etc.

    - If the workstation has actually become infected your IT team may need to take action (Eg. remove from network / cleanup / re-image etc).
