Sophos Web Appliance Question on Captive Portal

Within the Sophos web appliance. Is there a way that we can redirect a specific domain user to the captive portal? We do not want to enable captive portal company wide. We currently use "Webwasher" and it has this feature.

Hi Jose,

If the Web Appliance has already authenicated the machine with a domain user, then there is no need for the captive portal as authenication has already been done.

If you want to send a specific client identified by an IP address to the captive portal, that can be done using connection profiles and authenication profiles. You can find more information about those topics in the docurmentation here:
