Difference between "Quality of Service" and "Web protection Application"

Hi all!

 

I have 2 quick questions regarding two functions.

1. What is the difference between "Quality of Service" in "Interfaces and Routing" and "Application Control" in "Web protetion".

2. What function of the two mentioned above is best to use to block/throttle some web browsing.
