Recover AP55 firmware

After connecting an AP55 to the UTM, the AP began updating the firmware. Unfortunately the process was interrupted, and the AP is now not reachable anymore. The LED stays solid green. Is there any possibility to recover the AP?

Hi Henrik,

Green LED status states that the AP is up and running. Can you show us few logs line from the awed.log and up2date.log?

It sounds like the AP is now bricked, as a constant green means that it's not able to boot the OS.

Here you have the manual to recover your AP55. Now I have broken AP15, and maybe I can get it back - I'm writing a manual in a few days for this. Maybe with this manual it is possible to recover all Sophos APs that are don't covered by the original provided tool from Sophos. With the tool from Sophos you can only recover AP 10 / 30 / 50.

Better late than never. With this manual I was able to bring my broken AP55 back to life. Thank you!
