SG125w WPA Password always incorrect

I have an SG125W. I am trying to setup the wireless.

I went into Global Settings and allowed the internal interface.

I created the wireless network under "Wireless Networks" and enabled WPA2 Personal and set "Bridge AP to Lan".

Under "Access Points" localwifi0 has the wireless networks checked off.

Then when I activate the wireless networks, the SSID's show up, but the WPA2-PSK AES key never works, it always says it is incorrect.

So I plugged in an AP15, disabled the wireless networks on LocalWifi0 and enabled them on the AP15, and everything worked. Same SSID, same passwords.

What am I missing here?

  • Hi fellows,

i have since a few weeks an SG125W for home use.

Every two or three days all of my Iphones (2x5s 1x5c) cannot log into the WLAN network. when i force the reconnect on the ios device to the network, cames the following error: Cannot connect, wrong password.

Disable and reenable WLAN on ios device does not help.
With other clients like mac mini and Dell notebooks is there no problem to connect to the WLAN.

Only an complete reboot of the UTM fix this issue for a few days.

My inbuild WIFI card is bridged to the eth0, to have the same subnet on LAN and WLAN. This is a need for the bonjour service from apple, to print, share files, stream audio and video media.

The SG125W is running on 9.315-2

    Cheers Andy
  • Thought this was fixed in 9.4, so this "workaround" was supressed - but no! :-)

Still works fine with the bridging though - but how to do with seperate zone and w-models? - Create an interface on one of the avail. eth's and do a bridge there also, leaving wifi to bridge to ap lan?

    Happy weekend :-)
