AP30: Antenna coverage graph

Hello,
in order to study the positioning of my access points, I need the coverage graph of AP30. I downloaded some datasheets but I cannot find this information. Where is it? [:D]

Thank you for your help. Searching on the UBB I found that the model should be EAP9550. Assuming this information as true, the graph should be found here: http://www.engeniustech.com/resources/EAP9550%20Datasheet.pdf

I said "should be" because, like tegra said, the EAP9550 has 2 antennas, while AP30 has 3 antennas.

Is there anybody that can clarify this doubt?

    Thanks

  • The AP30 has 2 antennas -- and you are right it is is the same as the EAP9550 model.. the antenna used is one of these (there is a reflector element, so 3 pieces of metal that affect the transmission pattern):

Note that the image above may be difficult to understand -- there are two short antennas, each with a feed from the AP, and a X-shaped piece of metal (that is connected to nothing, it's just mounted there on the PCB) in the middle that seems to do as the "hype" says, directs the transmission / reception of wireless in a different direction on each side, with some spread to it... so you get a "lumpy oval" coverage area.  It seems to work well.
