Web Server Protection - Is it possible to publish a WebServer with a non standard TCP port?

Hi All,

I'm relatively new to UTM, coming from a TMG back ground. We have several sites published via TMG that listen on non standard TCP ports. I would like to move these to UTM.

Is the following scenario possible:

external user goes to www.mydomain.com -> UTM redirects the request to www.mydomain.com:8000 which is passed to the internal server?

Thanks in advance

Anthony

  • Yes. Virtual Server set to port 80. Real Server set to port 8000. You also could do it the other way around.
