Let's Encrypt has disabled ACME1 support for new registrations. If you look at your Let's Encrypt log you might see something like this:

E Create account: REG_FAILED: "detail": "Account creation on ACMEv1 is disabled. Please upgrade your ACME client to a version that supports ACMEv2 / RFC 8555. See community.letsencrypt.org/.../88430 for details.",

According to https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/b/blog/posts/utm-up2date-9-700-released this should work again with UTM 9.7 which is in rollout since end of September but probably not yet availabe via Up2Date. At least not for my UTM.

I think it could be helpful to post the relevant part of the log, maybe someone else can see an error.

Btw did you see https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/f/web-server-security/115242/9-605-1-let-s-encrypt-renewals-fail for example?
