On the same PC: Ad Block works in Firefox but not on Chrome.

Chrome skips Ad Blocking and displays the ads.

Ad-Blocking works:

  • UTM Policy Checker
  • Firefox as browser

Sophos UTM 9.410-6.

All happening on the same PC running Ubuntu 16.04.
(Tested chrome on another Windows PC behind the same UTM. Blocking works as expected...)

    I got exactly the same problem. It seems like google chrome is ignoring the self created CA certificate for the (google own) domains like "google.com" or "youtube.com". Please look in your certificate chain. In my case my SSL-certificate is not used for those sites. On all other "not google" sites, the certificate works as expected.
