Cannot download files anymore

Hi,

since yesterday, I cannot download files anymore. 
When the download stops, I get the attached screen, telling me about an error in processing archive. The log shows an avira error.

I rebooted the box twice. No solution.
I tried different files. For this example only a small one.

With my test ASG 8 Beta, no problems.

    My costumers had not been very happy about this and I had a lot of work to do.

    I think it was a big problem for everyone.  I had so many people calling me that I couldn't get off the phone until my battery died.

    Perhaps your costumers in US get the files from different locations and the Avira dictionary knows them better than ours.

    I don't think so.  I think it's just that all of my clients are primarily Microsoft shops that use IE.  The only Firefox users I know are individuals.

    I know it's been a while, but I decided that since I upgraded to v8 I should be able to disable my Avira exception rule that was bypassing scanning on files that caused this issue. (the original "error processing archive" issue that is)

    So I disabled the exception and tried to download the file again... and BAM! "Error processing archive."

    So 6 months down the road, a major version release, and still no resolution.
    I'll have a word with my account rep and see what info he can gather.
