RED 50 Network and Web Filtering

Recently deployed RED 50 to test site running in Standard/Unified Mode. All connections to LAN behind UTM are working as expected. However, clients in the RED 50 network are not being allowed access to the web. RED network definition is in the allowed networks for the default Web Filter Policy. When running a check through the Policy Help Desk message is given that the client is not in the allowed networks. Tried adding the definition for the particular client into the allowed networks and still received the same message. Seeing a similar message in Web Filtering log when trying to access any web sites from RED network.

  • Have you asked support?   This does not sound like a home user problem, and Support is good at this type of problem because they can see what you have done.

Are you using a Network Range object?   Another post said that they do not always work well. If so, try replacing it with Network (subnet) objects.
