Global Settings Not Applying To OUs

We've created two OUs in the Gateway Manager - each containing four different firewalls. We left one firewall under Global.

When we add a new Configuration and assign it to Global, it is only going to the one UTM and not all of the UTMs. Does Global in the Gateway Manager not really mean Global?

    Hello,
    normally you can only deploy configurations to utms which belong to the same organizational unit. The exception is the global organizational unit which allows you to deploy configurations belonging to the global organizational unit to utms of other organizational units. But the deployment of configurations belonging to the global organizational unit to utms of other organizational units cannot be done 'automatically' by activating autodeployment on the global organizational unit, it has to be done 'manually' by using the deployment wizards. If  autodeployment is activated on your global organizational unit only the configurations belonging to the global organizational unit will be deployed 'automatically' to the utms of the global organizational unit. Besides that firewall rulesets are never deployed 'automatically', they always have to be deployed 'manually'.
