Import and Deploy Definitions of MACS

Hi all,

we are using SUM 4 (4.104-10) in combination with some UTM devices. We use SUM for the administration of Hosts, Networks, etc. at one single point.
HOSTS with defined MAC-Adresse are not imported correctly as the MAC information will not be imported. The deploy back to the UTM where it comes from is also not working. The deploy to other devices works, but the also without the MAC. Similar behavior is with Hostnames with an Host.

Is their a special reason why the Import and Deploy is only usable for the Basics and not for the additional information?

    Hello Marcel,
    yes you are right SUM 4.1 doesn't support MAC Address Lists. But the good news is that
    SUM 4.2 will do that. The beta version of SUM 4.2 is expected to be available in March and it
    should not take so much time until it will be general available (GA).
