SUM 4.102 up2date has been released

SUM 4.102 updates have been release for older 4.00x installations... seeing this pushed to instances already.  Thought I'd update you if you're watching this forum.

  • Looks like they forgot to push the 4.101 update first.... so the 4.102 update will not install.  I've notified someone at Sophos; my guess is maybe they pushed out the update a bit early [:)]

  • Well, there appears to be some confusion -- not sure if this update will ever be installable, they are checking into it. For now, it won't install, the official line is to still install from ISO to 4.101 (no in-place update, new install with backup restore), then install this update.

     The guys at Sophos are looking into this.

  • So far, it seems that they did not mean for 4.0xx installs to see this 4.102 up2date, so to actually use 4.102, you'll need to install the 4.1xx release, then update.  Apparently this is an issue with the up2date process.
