Can no longer user SUM to log into remote firewalls

I am using Sophos SUM version 4.309-9. Up2Date tells me there is no more recent version.

This started about a week ago. I can no longer use the SUM manager to log into remote firewalls. When I try it will land me at what appears to be the page but it never fully loads. There is white text at the top of the page over the Sophos banner that says "Please wait, connecting to backend." If I refresh the page there it will show the login prompt.

The /var/log/httpd.log shows these errors whenever a remote login attempt is made through SUM:

2020:09:11-16:44:24 sum httpd[6482]: [fastcgi:error] [pid 6482] [client 10.15.1.17:57401] FastCGI: comm with server "/var/acc/webadmin.plx" aborted: idle timeout (30 sec), referer: 10.15.1.4:4422/<187>Sep 11 16:44:24 httpd[6482]: [fastcgi:error] [pid 6482] [client 10.15.1.17:57401] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/var/acc/webadmin.plx", referer: https://10.15.1.4:4422/

I attempted restarting just the httpd server using /etc/init.d/httpd restart

no change

I then attempted rebooting the entire VM, still no change. I have verified I can do things such as update a definition that has been pushed to firewalls in the past, and I can still modify those definitions in SUM and they do properly update on firewalls connected to SUM, so I know the connectivity is there I just can't remotely log into firewalls. This doesn't sound like a big issue, but for reasons, it is right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks
