SG125 Firewall no access

Hi All,

We have a SG125 firewall which was working fine until last week. The issue we are facing is not being able to login into the web interface, telnet or access using the VGA port.

Resetting the firewall using the reset button at the back seems to have done nothing.

Any help with this matter would be highly appreciated

Thanks

  • Hi Raees and welcome to the UTM Community!

Do you have some recent backups?  Is Shell Access configured to allow you to use PuTTy or some other tool to SSH to the command line?

  • No backups unfortunately. Not sure if Shell access is configured.

Connecting a console cable to the COM port doesn't seem to bring up anything on Putty.

  • No backups?  You should sic a rabid roo on the guy that failed to configure emailing automatic backups.  Then again, maybe his email account still exists at your company and there are backups in that account.
