you can generate a root crontab with

crontab -e

and insert there a line

@reboot <path to your script>

This voids your warranty...

"Based on" Suse, Gerardo. It's a stripped-down, hardened Linux that's been modified from an earlier version of Suse. In 10+ years of active participation here, I don't recall anyone ever cracking the barrier and, as Ian observes, a responsible firewall maker can't depend on having a situation like yours - access to the device by only one careful, smart person with good training and good intentions.

I understand, however there is some way to execute a custom script when starting sophos utm?

Gerardo, no can do. Although based on OpenSUSE, UTM is a closed system.

I am aware of the consequences. Also I have protected my sophos with all the security rules it provides, for example you can only access the ssh and webadmin from my PC.

I would never blame Sophos, I think it's an excellent firewall

Hi,

I think you fail to understand network security, allowing users to add software to the firewall could possibly compromise your firewall security and then you would blame sophos for failing tp protect you.
