Update Warning 9.411 if using RED 10 with static IP

Be careful with the update to 9.411. The update kills the config of the RED10 with static IPs! The REDs will act as DHCP-device after rebooting/firmwareupdate.

This update killed 3 devices with static IPs - I had to put it in a router with DHCP and internet connection to download the right configuration!

That is really bad if there is no Router/Server with DHCP at customer site!!!

 

RED10 EOL is 01/2018!!! So Sophos should test this before pushing updates!

No problems with RED10 (DHCP) and also no problems with RED15 (DHCP & Static IP)!

    I just checked the EoL date for RED 10 a few minutes before reading your post.  The date is 2018-Nov-01.
