Setting up Wifi on a RED 15w connected to a SG-105w

How am I suppodes to setup/enable the WiFi on a RED 15w connected to a SG-105w? The W-Lan on this remote UTM is already up and working.

In the Admin interface, I can see the interface wlan0 (which is enabled, working and bridged to eth0); as well as a wlan1 which I think it's the interface provided by the RED (not fully sure though).

I have created a new SSID too, pointing to wlan1, but no matter what I try there are no Wireless networks in the vicinity of the device I used to check.

Any help is appreciated!

  • Hi, Adrian, and welcome to the UTM Community!

What do you see in the RED and Wireless Protection logs when you power on the RED?

    Cheers - Bob

  • Hi Bob,

what logs exactly do you mean?

Maybe the following helps; when I'm on the dashboard, the link is as follows:

(wlan1 is the one in question).

I guess I would have to define an Access Point?

    There are no pending ones,

Clicking on this Edit button above gives me

but even when I try to add this one I don't see any Wifi around when checking with devices...
