RED-60 endless booting sequence (System/Router)

Hello,

I try to setup a brand new SD-RED-60 but facing endless error leds loop.

On local site (192.168.1.0/24), Sophos SG125 configuration :

On distant site (192.168.0.0/24), the RED-60 boots the following sequence :
- System led blinking green...
- System led solid green, Router led blinking green (long time)...

- System led solid red.

...while(1)

Router solid led is described in documentation as :

"Either an address has been received from DHCP, or static assignment, and appears valid. The gateway address is reachable."

Assuming blinking state is just before solid state (this never happens), I suppose RED cannot reach the local router gateway ?

Despite this endless booting sequence, a locally connected machine on distant site can ping the RED-60 on 192.168.0.191

So I deduce the distant configuration has been downloaded and is correctly applied ?

I cannot understand why the sequence cannot go further router led step.

Any idea ?

// ports forwarded on local site's router TCP 3400 <192.168.0.191 > 3400 + UDP 3410 <192.168.0.191 > 3410

  • Do you allow DNS access to UTM and internet access for RED?

  • I even tried to switch RED configuration to DHCP and it actually works ! RED had got an new local IP from the router DHCP range : 192.168.0.75 and is ping-able.

    Router (DHCP config page) :

    Ping-ing 0.75 :

    But still cannot go further.

  • Gateway is correct and internet access allowed for 192.168.0.75?

If 192.168.0.254 is the internal IP of UTM ... try this IP as second UTM-IP within RED-configuration
