What does the addition of Wireless Networks in brackets mean? "<NetworkName> (on wlanX)"

Hello together!

I recently got asked by a customer what the addition "(on wlanX)" behind the wireless networks name means.

I think, that this is a virtual interface which is created after adding a new wireless network.
But I really have no clue where else I can find it and what to do with it?!

So I don't really understand the sense of this one - so maybe there is somebody who is able to make it more understandable for me :)

Thank you!
Felix

You're really close, Felix - each is a virtual NIC that can be used for a new interface in 'Interfaces & Routing >> Interfaces'.
