PPOE Interface, Additional IP Addresses Stop Responding

UTM v9, PPOE Interface via Fiber.  PPOE authenticates gets a Fixed IP, 5 additional IP are listed under additional IP addresses.  Works great, for a random amount of time and then additional IP's stop responding.  A simple reconnect resolves the issue but it's becoming burdensome and I will be traveling soon and cannot manage this manually.

I saw an unresolved post about this from around a year ago.  

Any suggestions?

  • Hi Bob, thank you for taking the time to respond.. 

    For a PPOE connection:

    Webadmin>Interfaces & Routing>Interfaces>"Desired Interface" it will have a small button to "reconnect" 

    In the list of bug fixes in the last update, I noticed there was one note, "Additional adresses of a PPPoE interface are not reachable after takeover" 

    I am hopeful that this resolved this problem for me.  I will know over the next week.

  • So far so good, I would have had to reconnect the PPOE connection by now.  Hope this continues..
