User losing authentication

We are using STAS and we are running into the issue of our users losing authentication. The screen pops up like the website they are accessing is blocked by web filtering. We can fix the issue by simply having the user go to an unsecured website such as msn.com and they will be authenticated again and can access the previously blocked address. I am new to this position and Sophos and I am trying to learn this new system as I go.

I didn't get it, do you mean a User gets authenticated when the msn.com is browsed?

Yes. The browser acts like there is no authentication and then they go to msn.com and they can then go where ever, like they are authenticated again.

Hi,

Post a screenshot of Web protection global tab and make sure you have decrypt and scan selected.
