WebAdmin Access on WAN interface

Hopefully I have not overlooked something obvious, but I have installed a couple of UTMs in the past couple of years. They have been using a Static IP address on the WAN interface. I have no problems getting to the WebAdmin on those UTMs. However, now I am installing in a couple of locations that do not have Static IP addresses, so I was just letting the Sophos use DHCP on the WAN interface. They are cable modems. It seems to work fine for passing traffic to the Internet from computers. However, I am unable to get to the WebAdmin from outside the location. It seems to be talking to the Sophos UTM Manager, but when I try to connect from there, it fails. What do I need to be looking for?

  • Hi Matthew,

    Greetings.

You can configure a DyDNS to access UTM's Web Admin from remote location.

You can navigate through the options Network Services > DNS >DynDNS.

You can get guides on internet to configure your requirement.

    Thanks
