Thanks for the response, it was helpful.  I had a level 2 support call today and you are right - the only time the Default Gateway should be added is when configuring the WAN interface.

As for the VLANs I was trying to set up, it turns out that you cannot create VLANs using the internal WiFi on the SG115w.  In fact, I was told that the device does not assign VLAN tags via DHCP scope, it is merely VLAN-aware. (I will use the SG300 to tag the various VLANs as necessary.)  On the wireless side, configuring each SSID as a Separate Zone will accomplish the same goal - the virtual wireless interfaces (wlan1, wlan2, etc.) take the place of the virtual LAN interface.  I was able to create all the networks I needed by first creating the wireless network, then the interface, then the dhcp scope.
