Content Filter Exceptions using Referer

If there a way that we can setup a bypass for a particular url based on the REFERER column of the log?  Basically we have a google apps website that uses embedded frames etc. from various websites.  If that site isn't already allowed in the filter they get blocked but looking at the log the primary website is listed in the referer portion of the log, so in theory this should be doable, just can't figure out how.  I've tried various regex strings to no avail.

  • Hi, John, and welcome to the UTM Community!

That's not possible at present, but it sounds like an excellent Feature Suggestion.

That said, I'm not comfortable with what sounds like Cross-Site Scripting.  Nonetheless, you could give your folks the ability to override blocks by the Proxy.

    Cheers - Bob
