UTM Home DNS issues with Synology NAS

Hey all,

I have my UTM set up pretty well now except for one large problem. Apps running on my (2) Synology NAS boxes are throwing all kinds of Name Resolution errors while the same apps running on my Windows boxes are running fine. All the machines are on the same network and all point to the same UTM. Can someone explain why the Synology boxes would be behaving differently than my Windows machines ?

Did you granted the Synology NAS the same rules and rights like U did 4 the windows machine?

Can you elaborate on this? I have not explicitly granted any rules or rights though the UTM to any machine on my network. Perhaps I have missed something big?

Hi!

I currently also have problems with my Synology NAS having DNS-issues using my Sophos SG 135w.

When switching the NAS to 8.8.8.8 it works fine.

Did you ever solve your problem?
