connectivity issue

Hi,

We have setup our exchange server with WAF, laatly when check the WAF logs we see status code 401 and 502 for the url that we use for our outlook anywhere and activesync, what this means? some times I hear that some of our users lost thier connection with exchange server and then in short time connection restablish. is this issue has something to do with ststuscode 401 and 502?

    For status code 401, if Users are authenticated via a backend AD server then check the setting in Management> Authentication Services> Advacne> Prefetch Directory users. 

    For status code 502, it clearly states- The server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, received an invalid response from an inbound server it accessed while attempting to fulfill the request. Please check that from your local end server.
