Mail Address Mapping

Hi all,

I'm going to use the SMTP Proxy Option in the new Sophos UTM 9. But I wonder if there is an option to map incoming mails to another address?

For everyone who is involved to postfix would this know as recipient_canonical_map where you can say:

map @publicdomain.com to @localdomain.com
So that nobody from the wild www can see your local domain.

Is it possible to set this option within the utm?

Thanks und cheers to all!

  • No, the SMTP Proxy won't do this.  I don't know how the name of your local domain would "leak" via the ASG/UTM though...
