HTTP Proxy is running on more than 100% CPU since 9.101

Gentlemen,

with version 9.101, we had several reports from customers that the HTTP Proxy is running under heavy load. We could identify the issue and track it internally under:

26192: Since 9.101 http proxy is running on more than 100% cpu load

If you experience that behaviour, please contact our support teams refering to that post. They will give you a patch for the issue.

The official fix is scheduled for 9.102, planned for end of June.

Just install 9.102 -- it includes the patch.

If i install the RPM on a Cluster, then the package must be installed on both machines?

VMWare.

I have a 4 port Intel NIC, 2 port Intel NIC.

I created a vSwitch called WAN and I have a vSwitch for everything Production.

On the VM I have a Network Adapter pointed to WAN and one pointed to Production.

Reseller worked with astaro and I got a discount on bigger hardware again. Now I have a 220 paperweight.

FWIW, you can probably install the "software" version of the UTM on the 220 and use it at home with a free license.

I only have a 30Mbit connection and I don't think I was using more than 20Mbit for the downloads.

I am running a rev5 of the UTM120 (just bought a few weeks ago).

And how high is the CPU usage?

If you are a paying client an email to support or your reseller(depending on your support level) is always warranted for any technical issue.

No replies at all from astaro sales. Support already RMA'd the unit. Reseller worked with astaro and I got a discount on bigger hardware again. Now I have a 220 paperweight.

if there's no error restart the proxy and that should be taken care of.
