Intel I354 NICs only running in 100Mbit Mode

Error: Ports eth0-eth3 on a SG135 rev2 will currently only run at 100Mbit. This error persists whether you run a hardware version, or even if you were to rip out the SSD, install another one and run the SG135 on a software license for the lols. The error persist no matter which switch or NIC you throw at it at the other end.

Affected Model: SG135 Rev2

Model has 8 Interfaces.

eth0-eth3 = Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection I354

eth4-eth7 = Intel Corporation I211 Gigabit Network Connection

According to Intel, the I350 Chipset is Gigabit capable. The i354 in the Sophos indicates that it is the quad port variant of the i350 chip.

Question: Is there a way to get the SG135 back to speed, or is this one of these legacy hardware bugs nobody gives two flying expletives about?

Basically, the latest hardware and software versions both have this issue, pointing a problem concerning kernel support of the hardware.

I am not sure which is the earliest version that the issue comes up. We discovered it by accident when the internet connection of the customer on eth0 was upgraded from 100Mbit to 250MBit. We could then verify the issue on another SG135rev2, meaning it is not an issue with just one piece of defective hardware. We also compared with a SG135Rev3, but since that is using the IntexX553 and Intel i211 chips, it remains unaffected.
