it seems ok, but after setting a new password, i still got WebAdmin: invalid username or password

so i did system_password_reset,via init=/bin/bash a second time
but again no success, i still get: WebAdmin: invalid username or password

  • I don't know for sure, but via SSH, I don't think that it gives you any indication that your password may not be strong enough, as they did some password complexity requirements for admin a while back.

Make sure you follow that in case it is enabled (mine is how the default is set).  Follow that, change your password accordingly, then try it again.

  • I'm opening a Support case for my issue.  My client onsite has no problems logging in as admin.  I asked him to change the password fror my account and try to login with my credentials - no go.

  • Hi Amodin

After i issued system_password_reset,via init=/bin/bash, i had to go to the webinterface to set an new admin password.

there i had to respect all the password requirements, otherwise i got only the message, "password is too week".
I even got the message that part of the password was found in a directory.

So i really had to mix the different characters.

    still i can't log in

    thanks for the tip anyway!

Maybe Bob's support case can shed some light on the issue.
