Active/passive with SG 310 Rev. 1 and XG 310 Rev. 1

Question

We currently have a single SG 310 in use. As we're moving towards more network segmentation, this becomes a potential single point of failure. 
 Thus, we want to upgrade to an active/passive pair, which - as far as I know - requires identical hardware for the second device. Sadly, our SG 310 is Revision 1 which is not available anymore. 
 We could probably obtain an XG 310 Rev. 1. Would that hardware be 100% compatible to an SG 310 Rev. 1?

 Thank you for reaching out to the Community! 
 XG 310 Rev 1 might not work in HA with SG 310 Rev 1, as both are different hardware models. 
 Hardware model and revision number should be identical to avoid any conflicts while syncing between the two devices.
