Sophos 220 XG Version Display

Hallo zusammen,

 

Ich habe mir vor mehr als 3 Jahren eine Sophos UTM 220 gekauft und dort die Software Version von Sophos XG Installiert. Läuft auch echt prima. Was ich jedoch ärgerlich finde ist, dass das Display jetzt nur leuchtet und nicht mehr nutzbar ist. Ich habe schon viel im Internet gesucht aber konntet nichts dazu finden. Deswegen wollte ich euch fragen, ob jemand eine Idee hat, wie ich das Display mit einem Trick wieder in Betrieb nehmen kann und kann mir dabei helfen?. Natürlich OHNE wieder auf die UTM Version zu wechseln. Ich möchte das Display mit der XG Version nutzen.

    Also bei der UTM funktioniert das sehrwohl auch mit der Software ISO:

    SOPHOS HW Appliance LCD Activation

     

    1. Enter shell mode

     

    1. Type vi /etc/asg

     

    1. Insert the following text (marked blue):

    Example for SG 210

    ASG_VERSION=”210″
    LCD4LINUX_HW=”LCD-SERIAL300″
    ASG_SUBTYPE=”r1″

    Example for UTM 220

    ASG_VERSION=”220″
    LCD4LINUX_HW=”LCM-162″
    ASG_SUBTYPE=”r5″

    1. Save the created file pressing ESC then type :wq to save and quit

     

    1. Reboot the device

     

    Eventuell gibt es bei der XG ähnliche Einträge; könnte ich mir durchaus vorstellen... hier müsstet ihr evtl selbst mal einen Blick in die File/s werfen. :)

    He said he's running XG, nd - does this prescription also work for the XG?
