GOOGLE MEET VIDEO CALL

Hi Everyone,

I would like to ask for your help regarding google meet. When we are inside our private network we can call someone outside our private network using google meet, audio is fine and we are able to see the video of the person on the other side, but the one we are trying to call cannot see our video. But when I connect the computer to my personal mobile data, they can see each other's video.

I hope you can help me regarding this matter.

Thanks!!

  • Hello,

Go to Sophos Admin Console with a browser and then to "Network Protection/Firewall" , there "Open Live Log" is your fiend.

Then try to use the function that is not working for you and watch the packets that are being "DROP"ped (red colour). There you will find the reason, why your connections do not work like they should.

Find out, wich internal IP is trying to get to which external IP (of Googles infrastructure?) and which port it wants to open.

Then decide, if you want to open this with a firewall rule, or not (especially research the external IPs, if they are really of Googles range).

This is the easiest/fastest way to solve problems lke these.
