[2.180][NOTABUG] Status bars of versions displayed wrong

After update to 2.180 yesterday, i had a to ACC again today, and now the bars of the ASG firmware version are displayed wrong.

Or, is it because of the "Failures" you see in the screenshot?
Then, some boxes would have problems to prefetch the update. The ASG's are showing that there is one Update, but the update is not shown.

Interesting thing, a very old 7.405 and brand new 8.000 don't seem to have this problem.

So, maybe more an ASG than ACC problem.

  • All the information shown on the page is used to calculate the level. In your case the failures and the 2 missing up2data packages together with some missing patterns are responsible to the red bar.

What do you mean by the follwoing:

Then, some boxes would have problems to prefetch the update. The ASG's are showing that there is one Update, but the update is not shown.

  • Some of the devices have prefetched the update (7.506) now.

But, some devices which showed that there is an update before (screenshot from first post), don't show it any more (SS from this post)

Now, the state of an device which only has one newer firmware version, has an orange state. Don't you think that's too high?

Is the failure counter reseted after some time?
  • Hi,

as Thorsten already explained all values are taken into account.

All devices which are depicted with an orange warning level also have a high count of failures for fetching/installing Up2Dates.

    This is the desired behavior.

The failure counter "relaxes" over time. It uses an established baseline from the data of the last 30 days. Hence, it will all be over soon [:)]

Devices which already have prefetched the latest Up2Date do not report that they lag behind anymore. Those devices which are unable to retrieve the respective available Up2Date information (e.g. due to a connectivity issue), won't report the number of available Up2Dates correctly to the ACC.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have more questions.

    Thanks and regards,
