[2.170][CONFIRMED] ACC Up2Date cache does not work with ASG V8.000GA

Up2date The cache does not work with ASG V8 GA and do not get updates from the ACC.
ASG V7.*** get their update as always.

    thanks for your report and sorry for any inconveniences.

    Could you please supply relevant excerpts (around the time when the ASG V8 tries to connect) from the following logfiles:


    • ASG 8.000 : /var/log/up2date.log
    • ACC 2.170 : /var/log/u2dcache.log

    You can also send the logfiles to acc-support@astaro.com for investigation.

    How did you configure allowed networks to the ACC's Up2Date Cache on your ACC? Is the originating/proxied IP of the ASG V8 in question contained within these allowed networks?

    Ah, one more thing which might work ...

    Just restart the Up2Date Cache on the ACC, either via enabling/disabling it via WebAdmin or by issuing the following command as root:
    /var/mdw/scripts/u2dcache restart


    This will recreate the ACL definitions and allow access to the dedicated V8 Up2Date servers.

    acc:/root # /var/mdw/scripts/u2dcache restart

    after restart ACC Up2date Cache, ASG V8.000GA works fine.

    Hi,

    behavior has been changed/bug fixed for 2.180. Up2Date Cache will refresh list of allowed servers and their correlated IPs every 15 minutes. When new V8 Up2Date Servers are activated over the next months, their IPs will be added to the list of allowed target servers automatically.
